Vinyl Sillhouettes

I'm a big fan of vinyl wall graphics. We have Blik graphics in our dining room and in E's bedroom. Today I stumbled across Vinyl Silhouettes via Ohdeedoh and my mind is already spinning with different ideas. I imagine one of E over the mantle or E and his (hypothetical future) puppy playing together in the nursery.

And they are affordable- which usually can't be said for personalized wall art.
I think this is a must for when we move into the new house.

An Awesome Book

Dallas Clayton's An Awesome Book is, well, Awesome.

Seriously one of the best children's books I've ever stumbled across. They were sold out at Christmastime so i picked it up for Easter (and I bought a few to give as gifts as well)

Available at Radder where you will find a link to the entire book. check it out.
The trailer for Spike Jones' adaptation of Maurice Sendak's beloved book "Where the Wild Things Are" came out yesterday.

It brings tears to me eyes.

I'm so excited about watching this with E. I have really high hopes and the trailer doesn't dissapoint. at all

Won't you be my neighbor

I am certainly the first to admit that nostalgia plays a big part in my selection of toys for my almost three year old.

These blocks by Holgate (available on Craftsbury Kids) really tug at my 30 year old heartstrings.

Sturdy classic wooden blocks depicting pictures from the Land of Make Believe from Mr. Roger's beloved neighborhood.  Prince Tuesday! Lady Elaine Fairchild! Daniel! King Friday!
